Real estate firms are hiring ride-sharing drivers from Uber and Lyft to search for house flip projects. The drivers look for homes that appear to be good candidates for renovation and sale. One company hires drivers to find potential flip houses in 20 states. Drivers get paid either a sales commission or a fee for each productive lead they submit. Is this happening in Arizona? Maybe, but it would be probably be illegal here to pay something similar to a commission or per property fee unless the drivers were employed by the real estate company, or they were licensed agents and the fees were not received directly, but were paid to their brokers.
